the energy I'm going for: one big screen, a messy desk, and code on the monitor.
The desk is a work in progress. Right now it's a 14" MacBook Pro (M5, 16GB, 1TB) doing most of the heavy lifting, my old Acer Nitro 5 pulled back into service as a second screen, and a boAt Rockerz 650 Pro headset for the long sessions. Not much, but it ships.
Next up is making it feel like a proper place to work: a 27–32" BenQ monitor with a warm light bar on top, a flat keyboard, a trackpad and mouse, Apple headphones, a few frames, and a small plant on the desk. The Nitro stays on as the extra screen until something better takes its spot.
And someday, a Mac Studio with an M5 Ultra. Or a Threadripper PRO 9995WX, if I lose my mind completely
